The Saved Reports section is available to store commonly used reports for future use and to schedule automatic email delivery of selected reports. The Ad-Hoc Reports section allows you to customize a report template with the desired parameters. The selection can then be saved privately or marked standard so the report may be generated by others.

Reports can be set up on a one time or regular basis to be automatically generated and emailed to selected recipients. For example, if an HR user typically runs the same batch of reports weekly, monthly or on a particular day of the week, and then distributes them to the same person or group of people, LBi HR HelpDesk can eliminate these manual tasks for your HR staff members.
Scheduled reports will generate on the selected interval, starting date and time. The system will create the report in PDF format and send an email to the designated recipients with the report attached.
A variety of available report parameters make this feature an even more powerful tool. For example, Multiple Division Selection lets you select more than one Division for a particular report template and is helpful for generating company wide reports.
The Time Frame Type selection options for Current and Last Month, Quarter and Year are useful for scheduled reports to apply the applicable time period parameter. The Date Range option is available to specify any desired time period.
When scheduling Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reports, carefully coordinate the Time Frame Type with the appropriate Starting Date. For example, if you would like to generate Monthly reports on the 1st of the month, be sure to select the "Last" Month option. Select the "Current" Month option if you would like to generate the reports on the last day of the month. In this case, also be sure to set the scheduled time after all activity takes place.
