Mobile Development and Location Based Services
Whether at the office, in the field, or in transit, today’s executives require instant access to their critical data. LBi employs the latest technologies to provide clients with wireless applications, allowing access to critical data while “on the go”. We utilize the most current encryption standards and security measures to provide safe and secure data transmission to anywhere with a wireless signal. We offer our clients their critical application functionality in the convenience of a mobile device. In addition to offering wireless access to our existing products, we are able to develop custom, standalone wireless applications to service whatever need a client may have. LBi also has the experience and capabilities to use location based services, such as GPS, to create powerful mobile applications. Whether providing turn by turn directions or displaying precise locations on a map, our applications leverage the full capabilities of a mobile device to utilize location-based information. We write applications that can run on any capable device or carrier network, and know how to get the most out of the phone features and the network capabilities. Technologies used to develop applications include J2ME, CLDC, MIDP, and the .NET Compact Framework. See the examples below of At-Trac, CaseManager, and a Sports Information Management application running on various mobile platforms:
